San Francisco, November 2023. The CivDot maker's second robot paints solid and dashed lines up to 16 miles a day.
Civ Robotics unveiled CivDash on 7 November 2023, a robot that paints road striping on its own.
Lines from 100 feet away
CivDash lays solid or dashed lines with about 3 centimeters of accuracy and up to 16 miles per workday, according to the launch release and Equipment World. It runs about eight hours, detects obstacles and carries two spare spray cans. The crew can control it from up to 100 feet away, out of traffic.
Same survey stack
CivDash uses Civ's CivPlan software and works with Trimble R780 GNSS receivers and Trimble, Topcon, Leica and NTRIP corrections. It is the striping partner to CivDot, Civ's staking robot for solar and civil sites.
