Daedong puts Kioti AI tractors on the CES floor

Korea Times: Daedong shows on-device AI RX-series utility tractors and vision-mapped autonomy at CES 2025 in Las Vegas.

The Korea Times reported from CES 2025 in Las Vegas that Daedong showcased Kioti RX-series utility tractors that drive and farm with on-device AI. The company claims level-4.5 autonomy under Korean Agency for Technology and Standards farming rules from 2022.

Vision sensors on Kioti machines map field boundaries without a hand-drawn path and recognize attachments so the tractor can decide the next pass. Self-driving Kioti iron is Korea-first today; Daedong told the Times international sales and remote app control via Daedong Connect follow in 2026.

Daegu-born Daedong — sold as Kioti in North America — put the booth next to the same CES conversation as John Deere’s driverless dump truck. The steel-collar read: autonomy is no longer a demo reel for farm OEMs; it is the product on the carpet.
