Flyability released Smart Return-to-Home for Elios 3 on 26 March 2025 - first step in a longer autonomy roadmap for the confined-space inspection drone. Pilots trigger RTH in Cockpit; the aircraft plans the shortest return while avoiding obstacles; pilot can take over anytime.
Real-time LiDAR feeds an onboard autonomy engine that builds and executes the flight plan. Battery gauge cues when to come home so inspectors spend flight time on the asset, not on the exit.
