Business Insider reported on 2 October 2026 that FieldAI is raising $700 million at a $10 billion valuation. Rya Jetha, citing a person familiar with the deal, wrote that a term sheet is signed and the financing has not formally closed. Which firm is leading was not named. FieldAI did not respond to a request for comment.
That mark would be five times the $2 billion valuation set just over a year ago, when the company raised more than $400 million. Named backers on that round included Jeff Bezos's family office, Laurene Powell Jobs's Emerson Collective, and Khosla Ventures. The new figure, if it closes, would sit near Physical Intelligence (about $11 billion) and below Skild AI (more than $14 billion).
FieldAI, founded in 2023, sells what it calls a universal general-purpose brain for robots it does not build: humanoids, robot dogs, drones, and industrial rovers, meant to work without a prior map. The same source said revenue and customer contracts have passed $135 million, at least $35 million of that since June, across more than 30 customers. Construction firms, data-center operators, and defense companies are on the list. Headquarters are Irvine and the Bay Area. Hires have come from Google DeepMind, Tesla, Nvidia, and Boston Dynamics.
The $10 billion number is a reported term sheet, not a closed round and not a filing. The last published closed mark in this file stays at $2 billion until the financing closes.
