Kajima's A⁴CSEL ran up to 14 machines around the clock.
In November 2024 Kajima marked the completion of CSG placement on the Naruse Dam body in Japan. Its A⁴CSEL automated construction system did the work.
How A⁴CSEL ran the job
Kajima says up to 14 automated bulldozers, vibratory rollers and dump trucks worked around the clock. Three IT pilots supervised them from about 400 km away.
Why it matters
A dam is one of the biggest earthworks jobs there is. This is automation at full project scale.
