Novarc Technologies raised a $50 million Series B in March 2025. Export Development Canada led the round, with Graham Partners, Seaspan and InBC participating.
What it is for
The money goes toward NovAI, Novarc's AI vision system for welding, and toward growing its automated welding business, including the Spool Welding Robot for pipe and roll welding.
Why it matters
Pipe spool welding is skilled, repetitive work. A cobot that handles it can help fab shops keep up with demand.
