This is the 24th Symposium on Construction Robotics, run by the Construction Robotics Research Council. November 10 is a forum at Hotel Seaside Shimabara. Papers and posters run November 11 and 12 at the Shimabara Rehabilitation Arena. November 13 is a site visit.
The hosts include the civil and architecture societies and the robot associations. The work is the Japanese line of thinking: heavy civil machines, tunnels, dams, and the small robots that take a repeated task off a person.
Most of the program is in Japanese. If you do not read the papers, the site day is the reason to go.
